I very disappointed in you all, no comments, Is my idea on free energy so bad?

Who Needs Parabolics

I'll start off by saying that the above ray trace is software generated and not made up, I made it in a program called optical ray tracer downloadble at http://arachnoid.com/OpticalRayTracer/.

First things first, are you aware that the blue mirrors focus point's is not at the center of it's diameter, but half way ( this is important to remember so that you have room to fit in the third reflector (later) between the green and blue ones)
Now the surprising part.
The green mirror in the first picture is diverging (spreading) the rays back out,
What's important is to get the beam parallel, in that it's (virtual) focal point needs to be at the same point as the blue mirrors.
This alignment can easily be done with a good light source.

You can stick some aluminium cooking foil on card or buy flexible mirror sheet to make the mirrors, the green mirror can be a tube from  kitchen roll cardboard tube covered in foil
Now if you've got this far and have made a reflector that sends a concentrated parallel bean back to the blue reflector as shown in the ray trace diagram....read on.

In the picture above, it can be very hard to tell that you would get a reflected line of light in the center from top to bottom.

And now for the final piece of my puzzle.....

Can you see that the parallel beams coming off the tubular reflector could be further concentrated down to a point. you could even go one more and put another reflector at that final point creating a narrow beam.
I've tried to create a 3d visual, but it's poor, but might help.....
Yes, getting a parabolic dish would be the simple solution, but I'm thinking .....
  • third world solar cooker
  • Backpackers solar cooker
  • long range wi-fi
  • satellite dish reflector alternative
  • bird sound amplifier
I'm sure your also thinking efficiency, but can't you just make it bigger to compensate?
I'm also thinking, how big could you build one of these (death ray anyone)
